What to Do If Your Test Results Are Abnormal?

I checked my test results through my patient portal and noticed that a few values were marked as abnormal. My doctor hasn't contacted me yet, and I'm getting worried because I don't understand what the results mean. I don't know whether I should wait for my doctor to call or contact the office myself. What should I do if my test results are abnormal?
